Travelling to the UK
Those of you travelling to the UK will have a large selection of flights to choose from, and a large number of arrival airports. London has 4 major airports - Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton. Bristol International airport may also be an alternative. The location of the 4 London airports is shown in the map below:

Heathrow is the most convenient for reaching Central London as well as Bristol or Cornwall. However, Heathrow mainly serves large national airlines and very few low cost airlines actually use Heathrow.

Gatwick, Stansted and Luton serve low cost airlines with Stansted being the main hub for Ryanair while Luton is easyJet's main hub.

Information for each airport, such as transport to and from the airport, terminal information etc is available from the airports website:

Travelling within the UK
Although travel within the UK is possible using trains and busses, these can be expensive and unreliable. We suggest car rental as the more economic and flexible way to travel when outside London. Although Falmouth is reachable by bus and train, a car is by far the most convenient mode of transport to reach remote areas if you plan on doing any sightseeing.
